Ravi : Bonjour Julie, la réunion commence à 14h finalement, pas à 13h. Ravi : Hello Julie, the meeting starts at 2pm after all, not 1pm.
Julie : Merci Ravi, alors je vais attendre. Julie : Thanks Ravi, so I’ll wait.
2. 2.
Tara : Salut Emma, tu vas comment à la fac aujourd’hui ? Tara : Hi Emma, how are you getting to college today?
Emma : À pied, c’est à côté de chez moi ! Emma :On foot, it’s right by my house!
3. 3.
Ravi : Salut Claire, le déjeuner est finalement dans le parc, pas au café. Ravi : Hi Claire, lunch is in the park after all, not at the café.
Claire : Super, merci pour l’info ! Claire : Great, thanks for the info!

Sophie : Oh non, regarde dehors… Il pleut à verse ! Sophie : Oh no, look outside… It’s pouring!
Paul : Sérieux ? Je n’avais même pas remarqué, j’étais concentré sur mon travail. Paul :Really? I hadn’t even noticed, I was concentrating on my work.
Sophie : Oui, et bien sûr, j’ai oublié mon parapluie à la maison… comme d’habitude. Sophie :Yes, and of course, I forgot my umbrella at home… as usual.
Paul : Pas de souci, moi, j’en ai un dans mon sac. On pourra rentrer ensemble sous le même parapluie. Paul : Don’t worry, I’ve got one in my bag. We can walk home together under the same umbrella.

Paul : Salut Clara ! Tu as changé de meubles récemment ?  Paul : Hi Clara! Have you changed your furniture lately? 
Clara : Salut Paul ! Oui, j’ai acheté un nouveau canapé.  Clara : Hi Paul! Yes, I bought a new sofa. 
Paul : Super ! Il est de quelle couleur ?  Paul :Great! What color is it? 
Clara : Il est gris. Et toi, des nouveautés chez toi ?  Clara : It’s gray. What’s new at home? 
Paul : Oui, j’ai enfin acheté un bureau pour mon bureau à domicile.  Paul : Yes, I finally bought a desk for my home office. 
Clara : Génial ! Ça doit être plus pratique pour travailler. Clara : Great! It must be more practical for working.

How long does it take you to prepare and to pass the test?

It depends from where you are starting and how many hours you are planning to study per week and also what do you want to achieve. (CLB 5, CLB 7)

Here some escenarios for CLB 5:

Escenario A:
If you are starting from 0 and you are planning to study 10-12 hrs a week you will need about 8 to 10 months.

Escenario B:
You are also starting from scratch but you can  study more time  15-20 hrs a week, It will take less time .That is around 5 to 7 months.

Escenario C:
If you have some knowledge of French ( let’s say DELF A1 level or NCLC level 3) You will need between 3 to 5 months to Achieve CLB 5. ( If you study 15-20 hrs a week)
