CHRIS : Bon, ça y est, Anne. J’ai confirmé ma réservation pour le vol du retour. C’est un peu bizarre que je me sente heureux et triste à la fois.	Well, that’s it, Anne. I confirmed my return flight reservation. It’s a little weird that I feel happy and sad at the same time.
ANNE : Bien entendu! Ça fait trois mois que tu vis en France. Il est d’ailleurs extraordinaire que tu te sois si bien adapté.	Of course! You’ve lived in France for three months. By the way, it’s amazing that you adapted so well.
CHRIS : C’était facile. Je n’ai jamais eu le mal du pays, tu sais. Probablement parce que j’ai été accueilli par ma tante et mon oncle et parce que, grâce à Didier, j’ai tout de suite rencontré des gens sympa comme toi.	It was easy. I never felt homesick, you know. Probably because I was hosted by my aunt and uncle and because, thanks to Didier, I met friendly people like you right away.
ANNE : Oui. Tu vas vraiment nous manquer. Par contre, ta famille et tes copains au Canada seront contents de te retrouver.	Yes. We’ll really miss you. On the other hand, your family and friends in Canada will be happy to get you back.
CHRIS : C’est pourquoi je me sens déchiré. Je serais prêt à rester ici beaucoup plus longtemps. Je suis tout à fait à l’aise. Mais je suis prêt aussi à reprendre mes activités auprès des miens.	That’s why I feel torn. I’d be ready to stay here much longer. I’m completely comfortable. But I’m also ready to pick up my activities with my friends and family.
ANNE : De toute façon, tu reviendras puisque tu as tant d’amis ici. En attendant, on gardera le contact. Vive Internet!	Anyway, you will come back since you have so many friends here. Meanwhile, we’ll stay in contact. Yay for the Internet!
CHRIS : Tu peux en être sûre! Tu voudrais qu’on fasse des projets pour l’été prochain? Peut-être un voyage en train à travers l’Europe?	You can be sure of that! Would you like us to make plans for next summer? Maybe a train trip across Europe?
ANNE : C’est tout à fait faisable, ça! J’ai hâte que ce soit de nouveau les grandes vacances!	That’s totally feasible! I can’t wait until next summer vacation!
